Job Overview
We are seeking a highly technical and solutions-driven Marketing Systems Engineer to architect, build, and maintain the complex technology stack that powers our agency and our clients’ growth. In this role, you will bridge the gap between marketing strategy and technical execution.

Whether it is building custom API integrations, deploying server-side tracking, designing complex lead-routing workflows, or writing custom scripts to automate our operations, you ensure our data is flawless and our systems are scalable. Key Responsibilities
- Systems Integration: Architect and maintain seamless API connections between diverse marketing platforms, CRMs (such as HubSpot or Salesforce), and internal data warehouses.
- Advanced Tracking & Analytics: Implement, test, and debug complex tracking infrastructures, including Server-Side Google Tag Manager (GTM), Meta Conversions API (CAPI), and custom GA4 event tracking.
- Marketing Automation: Design robust, scalable automated workflows using tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), or custom code to streamline lead routing, data enrichment, and internal agency operations.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the highest level of technical escalation for tracking discrepancies, broken data pipelines, website performance issues, and platform integration failures.
- Data Architecture: Ensure clean, reliable, and compliant data flows across all marketing channels, feeding directly into our centralized reporting dashboards (Looker Studio, BigQuery).
Key Requirements
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in a MarTech, technical marketing, or web development role, ideally within an agency or fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and at least one backend language (Python, PHP, or Node.js) for custom scripting and API development.
- Tracking Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Google Tag Manager (client and server-side), Google Analytics 4, and the technical deployment of major ad platform pixels.
- CRM & Automation: Deep, hands-on experience architecting complex data structures in major CRMs and connecting them via webhooks and APIs.
- Problem Solving: A highly analytical, "hacker" mindset with a passion for finding elegant, automated solutions to complex marketing bottlenecks.
